SIMPLICITY IS THE ULTIMATE SOPHISTICATION.
Historically, and until the mid-1970s, my paternal grandfather's wine estate was one of the flagship estates in the commune, and the memories of Chevalier, Bâtard, and other Enseignères wines have remained with me.
Today, this desire for excellence drives me when creating our wines; we offer a selection of grapes that are vinified and matured in the cellars of our house. My first vintage was 2005.

Christine and Jacques are here to welcome you to the family property and to guide you as you experience our wines in a warm and friendly setting (reservation required; 6 people minimum).
After a 20-minute guided tour of the premises (cellar and winery), you can taste our wines over a traditional Burgundy meal in our bright and pleasant tasting room – an ideal setting to introduce you to the wines of the estate.

Whatever the season, the authenticity of Domaine des Closeaux, its privacy and discretion, will allow you to escape everyday life.
Christine has welcomed guests since 2009, with a focus on simplicity, offering just one bedroom suite in the family home with a view over the vineyards, just a few minutes from the Montrachet vines, and lying on the route of the Beaune–Santenay bike trail.
At the heart of the Côte d’Or, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Domaine des Closeaux provides an exclusive, warm and personal welcome.
